Get A Pedometer

Do you have a weight goal to reach? If so, then you’re one of millions of people who aim to get thinner and look better. So you may be on a healthy eating plan along side an exercise plan where you are limited to the amount of calories you take per day, as well as a weekly goal of burning calories. They both can be tough to keep track of, but at least you can monitor the food you eat more accurately than monitoring the amount of exercise you do. So how do you make sure if you’ve reached your exercise goal for the week or not?

Try using a pedometer. They are a fantastic and accurate way of keeping track of the amount of calories you burn when you exercise. But not only when you exercise; if you strap them on and keep them on all day then it will also include all the calories you burn in the day, for example when you walk to work. They are discrete, so you can strap them onto your belt or in your pocket without anyone noticing.

These are a great way to keep on top of your weekly calorie burning goal. Soon it will be the food intake that will be the tricky thing to monitor instead! It is also a great way to track your progress in your fitness level; you’ll be able to monitor the amount of calories you burn within a set time and over time you’ll see that number increase as your fitness level goes up.
